    The only thing is the uruk hai infantry shield should be much bigger, like this:

    Are you sure you could not add to the mumakils, the ones in the movies had loads of spikes (which was just a bunch of big spears wrapped around with something thick. Also, I would suggest giving them a chain across the tusks if you upgrade them. Though, not sure how many times you would see a mumakil anyways.

    What's new on the berserker? The hand in the shoulder is a bit warped, you can try a asymmetric placement for the white hands in the torso, also it would be very good if you could set up a variation for the body with a different placement for the whitte hands to break that clone appearance.

    Brevi, what is mmbt_lod0, how can I add it, if I do not know what that means? I am guessing it is the goblin wargs. Also, what do the numbers mean before all the data in models_battl?

    You changed the nazguls?

    Based on your feedback, I improved the Heavy Uruk-Hai and the Berserker. I'm pretty tired of these models now so don't expect more changes.
    You can most likely consider it final.

    As you see above the white hands have been reworked now, I hope you like the new.
    You have some point with the skin color but it's totally impossible. There isn't enough space to put a tiny dot in that texture now not to mention whole body parts.

    If I made the shields bigger it would not fitt with the animations, there would be a tonn of clipping and I think they are good like this.
    MMBT = Mordor Battle Troll
    The numbers mean how many characters or lines will be 'read in' after that point. I suggest you study a guide on this. I learned the hard way...
    The nazgul attachments texture was changed because I had to add the flag of Isengard to it. Otherwise Orc bands would not be able to have it.

    The new on the Berserkers were the weapons. I think it's great improvement over the old.
    After your suggestion I made some variation for the Berserker... not much however but it's something.

    You can try using other helmets as well, for example the uruk infantry/crossbowmen/pikemen helmet would fit just nice IMHO

    and excellent work you made there, isengard got some really deserved diversity and detail

    Thanks and sure I got it, I will answer it soon. Sorry I was working constantly on the 0.3 release.

    So yes, the 0.3 is now ready for download, check the first post! I would like to ask a little favor from the community here... people who like this submod: Please install 0.3 and check for any small mistake you can find, check all units if possible. I have tested everything myself but the submod is quite massive now, small mistakes may happen. +rep will be given (if I can) for bug finders. ^^

    Phew this was a lot of work, I hope you will like it! Now I will take a little break with my releases... few days or so. I hope to get many feedback I will follow the forum often as always.

    There will be no more compatibility version as it was the same file almost as the normal download. I just deleted the *.txt files and the battle_models.modeldb file. Anyone can do this manually and it took me quite some time to always upload 2 separate files. I hope you understand.

    From what I recall you had one in previous version.

    I was hoping you understand... I put countless hours into this small project. You could help with doing the compatibility version yourself by downloading the normal version then doing these steps on the package:
    1. Delete file: data\export_descr_buildings.txt
    2. Delete file: data\export_descr_unit.txt
    3. Delete folder: data\text
    4. Delete file: data\unit_models\battle_models.modeldb
    5. Delete folder: data\world

    If you don't know how to fix the battle_models.modeldb file:
    1. Delete file: data\unit_models\_units\heroes\ugluk_lod0.mesh
    2. Delete file: data\unit_models\_units\ES_Greek_Greek_Heavy\Heavy_Uruk_Sword_lod0.mesh

    There. You have made your own compatibility version. For building a real compatibility package for the submods that you have installed you will need the original config files of mine anyway, so you can check how I added the units and such.

    Brevi, why would you delete all of those? That is the same as disabling the game. I really do not see how I can know the right numbers to use for ugluk, since you added two more textures... That is stuff I would only know if I did the modelling myself.


    Anyways, nice release, though to be very picky, the white hand on the uruk hai infantry shield looks too detailed (I know weird). It should look more like a big fat hand slobered unto the whole shield. Check the video I gave of helms deep for a reference. I doubt the uruks have that big of a hand to place on the shield.

    Brevi, youve done a greaaaaaaaaaaaat job. im so happy with those new raiders, and archers, its very epic, atleast thats my opion.
    now i can wait a month longer for 2.0 haha!

    in reality as awesome as his work is, he's not changing much so compatibility is not a problem. i'd doubt it would take him long to make it compatible for 2.0 when it comes out. im sure he put in hours and hours of work in those beautiful textures, but coding them in is just a few lines in the battlemodels.db and edu.

    berserker if you are gonna try and make this kind of stuff compatible with other mods i suggest read some tutorials on the battlemodels.db as it will save you a ton of headaches. i learned the hard way

    iam tired of reading forums and having people showing how to do things as if everyone knows what they are talking about how can i edit the units texture? i dont mean models db i mean if i wanted to put a cape on a mordor uruk or add the isengard uruk hai infentry armor to mordor black numenorians how could i do that? lol

    you need a modelling program, preferably milkshape, a uvmapping tool, lithumwrapper is good, a program that will let you edit dds, like photoshop or gimp, and im sorry to say, you will have to edit the battlemodels.db.

    i know, all that just to add a cloak.

    probably to not overwrite the original if anything goes wrong with the new textures or model, so he would have a backup is my guess.
