    Default Battlemap Lag HELP!

    In both shogun and medieval 1 i suffer from brief freezes during battles. This should not be an issue at all. This pc has a core i3 processor with an intel gma HD card. other than this horrid lag, i have no problems at all. PLEASE, someone help me. I have searched every forum on this issue known to man. No clear solution has been presented. i found a thread labeled "Perplexing Lag" which is seemingly the same issue but no one has posted a solution. running as admin/ compatibility mode does NOT work.
    edit: some assistance would be nice. I've tried defragging but to no avail.
