Faction list and information

...For the clans, we only need three : Minamoto, Taira and Fujiwara. They can have quite unique units, not just different colours/flags like Shogun. We can also create some cool sub factions, like the Sohei (warrior monks) who were semi-indepedant (would fight for anyone)...

Minamoto
Units: the rougher, 'provincial' eastern Minamoto units

Taira
Units: The Taira units should retain a more imperial look (being centred around the capital).

Fujiwara ?

Sohei Shadow faction

Basically yeah. Fujiwara is not top priority since it's not clear how they could be incorporated into the main campaign. We'll want to include them, but they should probably have a somewhat abridged roster. Same with the Sohei, who will transfer as AOR units.

Goryeo is not a priority for a 1.0 release of such a mod. The wars between Japan and Korea didn't occur until later on. We may add other factions later on as they are completed as part of an ahistorical invasion scenario to introduce more diversity, but this would be based on how things are completed for the main mod as opposed to trying to complete it for this campaign.
