CRD attaking Kingdom of Makuria

Hallo,

i play BC 2.0 as the Kingdom of Jeruserlam and anytime when i will attack the
Kingdom of Makuria or click on a charakter of this faction i have a crash to desktop. Is this a known problem? Is there a solution for this problem?

please help me!!!

Install patch 2.02 but after the saves deleted

You're from Austria so you most probably have a German MedIITW... that means when you install BC you have to select the option foreign language version in the installation menu.

--> uninstall BC
--> clean your registry with CCCleaner or similar
--> reinstall BC 2.02 as I told you

European versions are entirely localized, only the native language is present on the DVDs; the language option is only for the windows installer (which is pretty mindbogling), and will not install the game in any other language.

In other words, european players with non-english CD-boxed version CANNOT play BC. It will crash all the time, as i've finally came to understand.

I did not mean the language option in M2TW windows installer!

The former BC installer had such an option, too. However, I was just informed that the new BC installer doesn't contain the option anymore.

I can't look into this issue thoroughly until Juli, but there is a quickfix to avoid the CTDs!

To this post I attached a file, copy this file to your Medieval II Total War\broken_crescent\data folder, replace the original file. Then, delete the .dat and .idx files in your Medieval II Total War\broken_crescent\data\sounds folder start a game and voilà no CTDs
