On a more serious note, while his service in Tech and Hex capacities is beyond reproach, most of the other stuff listed can't actually be counted for this award. The University isn't recognized as a part of 'staff', nor is the Tribunal despite being a non-curial entity that's appointed, and the modding bits are separate and have already been awarded via Opifex. So the Novus needs to stand on his Tech contributions alone, and the OP should probably reflect this.

I do of course support based solely on the Tech Staff contributions. We are Tech and all your award are belong to us.

I could go build a thirty or forty page memo on this but was hoping we could kinda keep things "in House". Everywhere GED conducts his duties he does so as a member of staff. Be it tribunal, the gaming forums, assisting members with personal issues, he does so as a staff officer.

This emblem follows him where ever he goes and he carries it with distinction. Having said that if I have misinterpreted the guidelines, then you have my most profound apologies.

@ Mega: The key here is 'capacity', which refers to his position and roles in staff. As in, things which he does as a result of being in that position and that are within the purview of that position. His service as a Tribune predates his staff positions, and if it coincided at all it was an incidental relationship, he wasn't brought on with the task of serving on the Tribunal. The same can be said of his University involvement and modding contributions, all of which are not derived from his staff capacities and are separate endeavors he has undertaken and been awarded for by way of Opifex.

Work he does in his Tech Staff capacity includes but is not limited to: general server maintenance, interaction with the host, hardware purchasing and installation, software installation and debugging, and a variety of tasks ranging from utilization of the ACP to utilization of shell. Basically, keeping the site running in conjunction with Sim, with more of a focus on the hardware/hands-on aspect, whereas Sim deals more with software and systems administration. This has some overlap with his Hex capacity. If that isn't enough in and of itself then I'm not sure what is.
