Default We need an Elder Scrolls: Total War

Alright. So, I saw that someone made a Morrowind mod for medieval 2. There is a LotR mod out (2 in fact). I do a lot of writing myself related to ES, and some of it is RPing, which the ones I partake in are one where one plays a military commander of a nation in Tamriel.

For those of you who don't know what Elder Scrolls is, it is a series made by Bethsoft (creators of Fallout 3), and includes Oblivion and Morrowind.

I know a lot about the militaries and lore of the nations of Tamriel (the continent in Elder Scrolls where most of the action takes place).

If some of you modders wanted to help me out, perhaps we can co-work and make something great.

Here is the map of Tamriel: http://imperial-library.info/maps/cy...elowrescr7.jpg

You could do an entire world map, with that. I'm sure we could call up some of the Morrowind modders for medieval 2, and they could send us some 3D modeling. This would take some work, but if it was finished, it would be incredible.

The things in TES you could put in this are beyond imagination.

Anyone who likes this idea, thanks. Anyone who wants to help, thanks isn't enough.

I also believe there should be a Elder Scrolls mod for either Rome or Medieval 2. Now I wouldn't be able to contribute anything to the modding of the games as I have neither of them right now but do have a lot of
"historical" knowledge of the Elder Scrolls universe. Although I believe the two best and easiest times to be accomplished in game would have to be the beginnings of either the Reman or Septim dynastys. In the beginning of the Reman Dynasty, Reman Cyrodiil unites Colovia and Nibenay to fight the Akaviri invaders. Septims begins with Tiber Septim (named Talos at the time) serving under an Emperor named Cuhlecain conquering Tamriel and then becoming the true emperor himself. Both of these have a lot of historic basis without to much fantasy and can reflect events in other Total War games easily. Also both games can start in small theaters and be built upon so initially only 3 or 4 factions would have to be in the intial release if that. The Oblivion Crisis isn't a good theater because Mehrunes Dagon did not have cities and also it occured all throughout Tamriel. It is also very story driven. There are a few good sites to study all of the history of Tamriel.

    http://oblivion.wikia.com/wiki/Oblivion_Wik

I have studied a lot of information on the UESP and pretty much all of it is sourced from in game books or games. Oblivion Wiki is also accurate but some of the articles leave more room for interpretation and put out theory's about interpreting certain things in-game as the history contradicts itself and isn't all there. Much like our history.

Also where is this Morrowind Mod your talking about? Post a link?

I could get the rebel tribe names, necromancers (uu would be zombies, wraiths, other undead and demonic creatures) also the deadric worshipers ( wouldn't know of any uu's except cult fanatics), hammerfell pirates (obviously pirates), Magi of Summerset Isles. some mercs would be the black water company, fighters guild members, mages guild members, maybe replace assassins with dark brotherhood slayers and spies with thieves guild members, and diplomats with black horse couriers
