PC Crashing When Game Pad is Plugged In
Would anyone happen to know why a computer would crash after plugging in a wired Xbox 360 controller?
You can use those controllers the same way you would a Game Pad - by plugging it into a USB port. A few months ago I installed the proper software for it and used it quite a lot playing Just Cause 2 but recently it's been acting odd.
I just installed Fifa 2010 on my PC and decided to use the controller. When I first plugged it in (without the game running) my PC gave me the blue screen of death and had to be manually shut down. Later I tried again and it worked fine...then I just now plugged it in and the computer crashed.
Any idea what's going on?

It's probably a conflict in one of your drivers.
Try a system restore when everything was k it should fix that.
Also what type of windows are u using 32 bit or x64

Best guess its its an IRQ conflict with something else you have running. What other stuff do you have plugged into your USB slots?
