Judge Samuel Alito, much much much better pick but one that is going to spark a huge showdown on his nomination. He cant be attacked on his qualifications or capability to be supreme court justice...he is more then qualified so it will come down to the good old right vs left and trying to dig up dirt to type of fight. This is probably going to be a Robert Bork type fight and personally Ill be glad to see it because Bork showed how petty politicans can be in their attacks on a person and not their qualifications and hopefully this time the right outcome will happen he'll be appointed.

The abortion debate (I swear everything always come down to abortion) isnt clear cut, he has a record of supporting restrictions on abortion but also ruled that it was unconsitutional for a New Jersey state law that banned late term abortions. So guess we'll see.
