cant get rtw g.e to work on my pc

hey guys i just had to buy a new laptop cause my good one just quit yesterday its running vista and i have tried everything to get it to run the patched the uac and all it does after i install it is the hourglass pops up for a sec and it doesent do anything after that the game dosent even start any suggestion

1. Uninstall and reinstall with the UAC disabled.

If it does not work, post your dxdiag.

First of all welcome to the forum.

If this is the first time you've used Vista either make sure that you turn off UAC or install to a folder other than 'c:\program files (x86)' as that is 'protected' by Vista and 7 - this won't solve your issue but many installs mess up because of this.

yea i disabled the uac and reinstalled in program files non(x86)in commoon files and it still didnt work so heres the dxdiag thanks again

That's about half of it but you do need to run Windows Update manually as you still have Vista SP! and SP2 is out.

from a buddy who said he gotr it at target its making me mad that it wont worked it worked on my old computer but it was xp its hard to go buy a new computer at best buy and it not have vista or 7 on it

I have Win 7 64bit and I can play it.

I don't think your graphics chip can handle it from what I can find online.
