if install the expansions, what happens when i play the game again do the expansions alter the game
do i pick which expansion I get to play or do i pick the time period i dont understand what happens if I install it, i dont want to play just alexander, i still want to play the imperial campaign too

Very hard to read but anyway if you install Alexander you can play both alexander, RTW and BI. Alexander does not overwrite files, it just adds files. If that was your question.

Basicly, the expansions are seperate games. they alter nothing at the main rome total war game.

Each of these three (RTW/Barbarian Invasion/Alexander) are to be started with their own shortcut.
Nothing will be changed by the expansions - they are like 3 seperate games so no need to worry.

The expansions are basically extra games that are based off the original so you have nothing to worry about there both fun and interesting.
