If you donīt like the skin, than donīt play the mod
I didn't, and I haven't played the mod. That's why I asked what people thought of it themselves.

I was pointing out how some things looked really off. Really off.

but if you think that i remake my skin or ships only because a stupid, haughty and impolite user donīt like them, you are the only one that using Babel Fish....

Fortunately gives much more users, that donīt think like you.

Then donīt try me to get out of my patience and play the vanilla (standard) units. You donīt deserve this mod...

This would be a very cool mod I would like to use it, but some of the art looked very very messed up. The boats being insanely huge, some of the Armies looking messy and unrealistic. I even noticed the SPQR banner was backwards (the letters) on one of the boats.

This is your opinion.Personally i like my romans skin and ships .Moreover you can find those even in much more mod such as barebones,spqr,...then those are apreciate in the community.

"This would be a very cool mod I would like to use it, but some of the art looked very very messed up."

This is a very good mod,you are the only one that dislike it,but this not a problem...just donīt download or use it.

"The boats being insanely huge, some of the Armies looking messy and unrealistic."

This is very absurd. You find that the ships are to huge, but the standard armies, diplomatics or spies, than bigger than a city are, donīt disturb you

"I even noticed the SPQR banner was backwards (the letters) on one of the boats."

    This is not my error...

Post more comprehensibly? Me? You want me to be more comprehensible?

This is very absurd. You find that the ships are to huge, but the standard armies, diplomatics or spies, than bigger than a city are, donīt disturb you
Those types of units are supposed to be easy to see and locate. Ships in the water are easily discernable, and they don't have to be humongous.

I tried the SPQR mod without knowing this mod was a part of it. I thought the land units (generals, armies) looked decent, but the Diplomats (chiefly, the barbarian diplomats I encountered first) looked contrived. My opinion of your mod was heightened a tad, but the boats were an instant turn-off. They're simply too huge. The vanilla size is decent, since it's small enough not to be a nuisance but big enough to be easily noticeable. Your boats look good, but I think they'd do better scaled down.

You can scream and yell and the fanbois can get up in arms and block me or childishly lower my reputation, but in the end this is my opinion and I have every right to voice it. It's not such a big deal that I disagree with the mod-maker. Do I have to be blindly fanatic to his work in order to not be looked down upon?

    Dear Disciple,

Iīm sorry you dislike the mod or part of it,but i donīt want to remake anything. :original:

I like the "humongous" ships, the "stupid" romans and all what you criticize of my mod.

Then donīt lose more of my and your time to say me what you dislike of my mod.Iīm very tired to hear every time the same things....

Sure itīs your right to voice your opinion.(Moreover itīs ONLY YOUR opinion!!!) But is even my right to ignore your post, expecially if you continue with your impolite manners.I never insulte you.You every time insult me.

I think itīs better for us ,if you play the vanilla units or you made your own mod....

I hope you understand that this is the last time, that i replay your post.

Disciple, the SPQR letters being backwards is due to the direction the aship is facing, thats all, its not an erro,r it happens in normal RTW as well. Riczu did the large ships because he feels they look beter, and could you point out the pics you feel look odd.

Disciple. If you are going to post criticism of someones work, make it constructive. Why do you think i edited certian parts of your original post in this thread, and i see that you have edited that post yourself. I should probably tell you know that editing a post a moderator has edited and removing the edited contents, is a cautionable or warnable offense. Your original comment swere not oconstructive, you insulted the mod. I am assuming you didn't mean to, but your wordiing made it sound like you were. You are being, as you say "looked down upon" because of the way you made your comments. Im sure riczu would not have minded had you said:

i find the scale of the ships in your mod to be too large for my tastes, and i do not personally like the look of your skins.

But you didn't, you worded yourself poorly which lead to people responding in the way they did, me editing your post, and you eventually being warned.

Can't really tell , they both look pretty much the same (which is great) for my ignorant eyes, but I'd still say the first one.

    BTW

I'd really like to hear more about the gameplay in Casus Belli.

    Hi Riczu

I dont know if my answer is coming too late , but I'lll try anyway.

For starters, let me tell you i love your ships. My priority is realism, but as we say in my country, eyes eat too, not just the mouth, and you ships are beautiful.

And I like them big! quite differently of some hard (and unfair) criticims you had in the past... . At first that was a surprise, but with time I realized I prefer them big - lots of free space in the sea, so the big size doesnt clash with scenery - and its only way to really see the great details you made.

I just cant play without them anymore!

But those two new models with 2 additional small ships on the sides, I dont like them very much.
I much prefer the big ship alone - the 2 other ones are too small compared with the big one, and so look rather silly (just my opinion on the little ships, no offenses intended here, mm? ). They look like they are just being towed... like small boats for the crew to come ashore

I suppose your idea was to make it look like a fleet... maybe if you try two medium-sized ships (with the great model you have, if it can be downsized a bit, so that two can fit side by side). Just an idea, I don't know if you like it.
