Well, because FD and RR is the same mod! RR is the continuation of IBFD with the exact same setting. For a long time it was even called RR 8.0*, which was a bit confusing to change the name, but keep the numericals. I actually believe it was Ramon who instigated the name change from FD to RR. Later on we realized it was all just too confusing, so we changed the name of the forum back to IBFD. So, RR is actually IBFD 8.0.

    * This is how it was originally planned:
    IBFD 7.03
IBFD 7.04 ( cancelled due to its instability )
    RR 8.0
Keep up the great work Joar, Gaiten and many others. Its a wonderful thing the IB team has kept this going and all the mods on the forum

You want me to have the Romans trample the Sassanids???

    Maybe after next.

    The next will be ...
    demagogos nicator
Unit looks amazing, can not wiat defeat Narses with these guys However, I am not sire it is correct to use Greuthungi as a synonym to Ostrogoths, it is very probable that former Greuthungi formed large part of the later Ostrogoths but as far as I know modern historians are still cautious to refer to them as to the same people.
Who said that the Greuthungi were a synonym for the Ostrogoths? There some more tribes being part of the Ostrogoth tribal confederacy ...

Wonderful unit Gaiten! Thanks! Interesting the Niederstotzingen worn by this noble warrior! All in all, it looks right, The Burgundians had had to deal with Huns very closely.

The Nibelungen are at the heart of the most ancient Migartion's Saga, Attila, Siegfried, Brunhild, Hagen, Das Rheingold, Götterdämmerung, .. the Nibelungenlied!

" - See ye yonder, comrade, my brother stand before the Hunnish warriors amid a rain of blows? Friend, save my brother, or ever we lose the knight. -
.. Of all the kinsmen of the Huns within the hall, not one of these remained alive. Thus the clash of arms died out, since none strove with them longer. The lusty knights and bold now laid aside their swords. "

What better than "La bourguignonne" to say 'thank you' in the name of those formidable warriors?

    "JE SUIS FIER D'ÊTRE BOURGUIGNON!"

My name is John, Tribune of Legio Ripenses IX Tertiae Italica and loyal servant to the computer generated Emperor, Julianus Flavius Augustus "The Apostles". And I will have my vengeance again The Quadi tribes, barbarian scums who decimated half of my legio in Mediolanum City Siege almost a year ago and Gratianus Flavius "The Traitor", the former Caesar who convince a half of precious my legio to his petty scheme rebellion just 3 months ago in this save game or the next
