Default Quick question, how can I increce character life spans?

So is there any number I can adjust in SS6.1/6.2 that will let me increce character life spans? I play the game for RP and I just find it personaly anoying having just about every character ive grown attached too either dead or about to be dead every 30 turns =/, so is there any way I can swich a number somewhere that lets me let characters live for a couple hundred years or somthing hahah. Thanks in advance

Go to */Medieval II Total War/Mods/Stainless_Steel_6/Data and open the file descr_campaign_db.xml.

Find the entry <max_age_before_death uint="91"/> and change the number to something higher.

Always make a backup of the file before you start editing!
There's a max limit, but I'm not sure exactly what, so you'll have to try it out. Too high a number can cause crashes.

Keep in mind the Golden Rule of Modders:
    Always make backups!
    The Enemy of Human Souls

For Hell had been annexed of late,
And was a sovereign Southern State.
