    Default Force Diplomacy Mod

Hi there guys, I'm playing IB SOMNIUM APOSTATAE JULIANI 365 campaign and I'm really enjoying it.

That being said, there are a lot of goals that I would like to accomplish in the campaign that are simply unattainable because of the AI's terrible approach to diplomacy.

Has there been a force diplomacy mod released for IB (I haven't been able to locate one)? If not, would it be very difficult to make one?

I read through this post but it was pretty daunting for somebody that has no experience in the matter: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=85442

    Thanks in advance!

In fact IB:SAI has forced diplomacy as an optional install. Please go to the options folder within the IJ folder. There you will see the Forced Diplomacy folder. Just follow the instructions.

I wasn't able to find it in the options folder. Here is my current folder breakdown:

    IJ > Options >

    Folders:

    Campaign gameplay
    intro movie
    skies
    sound mod
    stratmap models
    vegetation

Which patch are you playing with?? As both Patches 4 and 5 have Forced Diplomacy as an optional install.

Oh, I just downloaded IB: SAI using the link and instructions on the IB forums. I'll go look for the patches as mine is probably out of date. Thanks Julianus!

Does IBFD (Rio's mod) have this? Because my objectives are to restore the boundries of the western empire. Not to restore the whole thing...

If you activate the script each time you load the game you should notice it. East Rome will attack as you change turns and then have the alliance forced on it again. I think it is in the 4 tpy script. If you place forts along the border then they will siege these turn and then brake the siege. As long as you don't initiate and attack against them this should remain in place.
You should also notice any Barbarians in alliance with the East doing the same thing.

I went back to playing Vanilla BI with 4 tpy and RIO's diplomacy mod added in.
