I have tried to use the use the German axemen in a custom battle and I get a crash everytime. Any suggestions?

The problem stumped me for while because it only crashed in custom battles.

Goto:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data\models_unit\textures

Change "chosen_axe.tga.dds" to "chosen_axe_german.tga.dds"

I installed RTW 1.0, Then I applied the 1.2 patch, and I added the RTR 6.0 +6.2 patch. After this I was searching through the forums and found you Darknar mod v3c. I started keep in mind before I installed your mod It was working fine Battles and the campain map. When I installed your mod I installed all the things you placed in my RTW folder, and I started up RTR and started custom battle. It loaded all the way to the end of load and it crashed. Please tell me what I did wrong.

I have this awesome mod for RTR , but , i have a question , why I cant hear the new RTR music? instead I hear the vanilla music =( , can someone help me?

Just Install the 6.2 Music addon at there web site www.rometotalrealism.org

I get a very long down load wait time and then after 20min or so it comes up with a message stating that the file is no longer valid or missing. Any body had these problems and any body know whats it about

I have a problem too.
I can't download DMC V3 on FileFront : the download is never starting...
Please can you upload the file on another server, I can't wait to try it anymore :-P

I have a clean install with all the patched as instructed 1.2, RTR 6.0. 6.1, 6.2 etc.
Campaign: During battles whch start out fine on cliking on units to attack I get CTD.
Any idears what this could be?

OK - Problem solved!
1) Down load ok
2) I reinstalled the option 2 of the mods within the program and no more CTD.

Hi !
I downloaded it. It started quickly and worked well. The file seems ok.

I don't have an install of RTW 1.2 now, so I'll try the mod in a few days after I installed everything necessary before DMC V3.
But I extracted the file in a blank directory and everything seemed fine.

Let me clarify No problems with DMC yet.
Just the installer had problem as you see below.

Two problems surfaced just in the way I install it which; works fine if you have xp and pdf reader.

In v4b the setup2.bat file is only file changed to handle computer that have

Windows 98 or have no pdf reader.

1. What happens is installer locks up looking for pdf program to load DMC_Readme.pdf and finds none

So locks up and doesn't completly install the files.

(fixed by removing refer to "DMC_Readme.pdf" which launched the pdf file while still installing)

2. Windows 98 handles bat files differntly unable to delete setup.bat while running same file you are running whereas xp can.

windows locks up and doesn't completly install the files.

(fixed by Pause -- Press any key -- then delete the files to make sure finishes installing before deleting)

So hopeful v4b will have none of these problems.
