Replacing generic spears

Hey everyone! First of all, I have been a long time fan of Stainless Steel and am currently playing 6.2 but something has always bugged me about M2TW and that is the inaccurate style of spear heads. Spears have been improved appearance wise with other mods but thus far not SS. So I was wondering how I can replace the generic wedge shape spear heads with the improved and historically accurate versions that I see in other mods. Thanks for any help.

It requires editing the models and textures each unit uses. It'd be a big job to change every spear unit that uses the vanilla spears as there are a lot of spear units and 4 models per unit. If you want to try though, there are several tutorials on how to do it in the Mod Workshop tutorials forum.

If there are already other mods that do this, you may try to convince the writers of those mods to offer this feature as a sub-mod of SS. Really no reason to redo what somebody has already done.

The point is, that the historical spear-heads should be intergrated into all the SS units. I doubt another mod-leader would offer to do this for SS, due to the large amount of work.
