Good to hear! And am I right in remembering that you will mostly use the Magyar Mod's units for Hungary in the first version?

On that note, will some prototype Moldova and Knights of St. John be in the first version, with template units, or will they be totally excluded till a later version, or are you not sure yet?

Thanks for clearing that up. The romans should look really awesome with the combination of CBUR and the new units.

As for Moldova, when it will be done im guessing they would share many units with wallachia or would be very similar.

The question was not whether they will be as factions at all (duh, you can't have just plain rebels on Hungarian and Byzantine territory), but whether they will be as Tzardoms-made factions, vanilla factions or a mix of vanilla, Tzardoms and other mod's works. The latter seems to be the case.

Haha, thats very true. I mean imagine when Tsardoms will be out and people will be talking about their experience playing the game, the units, the factions, AARs etc. I am sure you will miss all the pointless arguing and spamming then, so make most of it now

Ok, since all of the arguing threads have been locked let's get back to asking questions about the mod. One thing i noticed with the Ottoman units is that these Pyiade Infantry have on their shields a symbol very similar to the Wallachian symbol of the Basarabs (the two clawed crossed together).

I thought the bardiche was more of a east european weapon rather than Turkish and that it was used with 2 hands. Seems kind of heavy for 1 hand.

Aside from that the Turks look great. Can't wait for night time ambushes and cunning Draculea-esque tactics ~_~

Also in game on the campaign map I hope they are like the Mongols and Timurids in Vanilla in resources and ferocity. I'd also check out EB for anything of use from there in forms of ideas and what not.

ottoman roster is one of the best researched. that berdiche is from osprey, and yet, in many texts. believe me, i think that this ottoman roster is the most historically accurate.

well, i was wondering that too, but by ian heath it is accurate for wallachia, and by osprey, it is showed in ottoman shields.
