Welcome.
First of all: post in the right place from now on. This thread clearly belongs in the tech help sub-forum.
Did you install the trivial script? Use that to start EB.
If you start EB by using the EB shortcut, make sure it has the following target line: "YOUR PATH OF RTW\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err

the trivial script popped up when i just installed the mod s:
The Trivial Script is an optional feature of EB, you are asked in the installation progress if you want it.
If you have it, there is a file called "EB-Singleplayer" in your RTW folder, use that to start the game.
If not installed create a new shortcut to RTW.exe and edit the target line, just add what Mediolanicus posted (-mod:eb -show_err) to the end of the target line.
Before answering anything, would you be so kind to read the EB FAQand the Frequently encountered issues?!
XSamatan
I already told you that it does not work when i launch the shortcut, even with a new shortcut which i have now. I am clearly wasting my time so i should promptly delete EB.
EDIT:
Now that i have read frequently encountered issues i know i am trulyed because you and the page wont tell me how to fix it
i am now going to re-install and see if i can use trivialscript.
EDIT:
I tried using EB-SIngleplayer but that gives an instant crash aswell
EDIT:
I used trivialscript and that gave an instant crash too! Maybe it has to do with me having windows 7 and putting it all in program files.
EDIT:
Trying everything that i can, and it still wont work. God bless windows 7

CenturyGamer you need help I see. I suggest two medium-sized doses of patience, and 1 cup of good 'ol listening. More to come...

A_Dane you shouldn't expect an apology. That's wrong. And to the pirate, think about it this way. A pirate, you in this case, is like a youth at-risk and on-the-edge when it comes to youth gangs, crime, drugs and violence. Just like it says in my research paper. But it's not the end of the world. With some intervention you will be able to get out of the vicious circle. Now, nobody should bash you or anything, but consider this: I, among many, many others, paid for the game we called Rome: Total War. What did you do? Oh and here's the thing, I have a friend, ya, and he's from El Salvador. He told me sincerely that in his country he has looked around many computer stores and has never found one selling the game. Now...I didn't ask him if he could try through Steam (I don't know if or how Steam works outside of the U.S./Europe whatnot). But you catch my drift. If they sell it in any way shape or form, you should buy it.

I don't expect an apology on my behalf, don't really care, but you or some one else might, and he pretty much lashed out at you, while he afterwards he tries to act like nothing happened.
I guess he never really learnt manners...
well, you do realise we wouldn't be acting like ":wub:s" if you had behaved in a non aggressive way?
but sure, i'll stop posting now
Another possibly reply would be: Buy a legal copy and RTFM...haha.
