Though Muslims are a small minority in Britain, the government is bowing to their every wish, no matter how preposterous it may be. I think this is just cowardice. These leaders are just too afraid to say "no" to the Muslims.

I agree with Kanaric to some degree, I think this is just another nearly-meaningless "news story" meant to get people arguing and debating something that ultimately has little or no meaning to it. Its a diversion. Just like the Michael Jackson case was a diversion from the important things Americans SHOULD be asking about, like the Iraq War. Just like the world series and all the white sox hype (I live near Chicago so its huge here) is just a distraction for morons from real important stuff like politics. A baseball game should never make the news, in my opinion, and here its nothing but white sox hype on the news all the time. Personally I'm sick of all these stupid diversions the news networks are cramming down our throats because theyre too lazy to go an uncover real news stories and to bother making them interesting.
I don't know what its like in England, maybe the populace is smarter than the Americans and they dont let themselves be hypnotized by pointless news stories like this...
Personally, I think we should force all people to pray to Allah 5 times a day. Everyone who professes to have a different religion can be forced. They need to learn: this is what a Muslim is supposed to do, it is good, do it.

I can't believe that I would agree with you ever, First Crusader, since our ideologies are complete opposites. But in this case....I agree completely. That's ridiculous.
I am greatly Anti the Iraq War but I'm not pro-muslim or pro even peaceful, ordinary religious fundamentalists. Muslims have no right to dictate what we do with our banks. That's just absurd.
In my opinion, every single fundamentalist should be kicked out of the UK, no matter what religion they have, because all they are interested in is controlling people. They really anger me.

Actually, you dont find the fact that theyre banning PIGGY BANKS because Muslims dont eat pork to be slightly distressing? Muslims dont do alot of things folks in the UK are used to doing. Are they going to ban all that as well?
Also...suing fast food companies for making you fat is about to be, or already is, not possible anymore. Same thing with suing a gun manufacturer when someone shoots you. Cant do it anymore.

Yes, just the same as they banned the confederate flag in the south in the US because a minority was offended by it, also the same as in Germany they ban Nazi symbolism because a minority is offended by it, just the same as in the US we have to say "Happy Holidays" and not "Merry Christmas"... just the same how you can't talk about Easter outside of church unless its about some stupid bunny. Personally I don't find it particularly scarey--just idiotic and stupid, i.e. politically correct. And it gets rather tiring and irritating. (As does people suing MacDonald's)
