    Default Spies?

    What should i do to spy-free my cities? or keep assasins away as well?

    Just keep your own spies in the city. He will reduce the rate of success for the enemy spies and assassins significantly, so you'll often get messages that say foreign spies had died trying to enter the city, same for the assassins, but you shouldn't worry about AI assassins much, they're often very low at skill, which kinda sucks, AI should accept assassin guilds as the human player does, yet the AI rarely has assassins with more than 3 skill.

    I always keep spies in my cities, they're very useful. I suggest having two spies and an assassin per city.

    Also, I recruit a spy whenever a city drops in public order without explanation or an enemy army is approaching. I kill two-three spies per turn.

    Plus, assassins allow you to defend your city against Jihads/Crusades. I generaly train them on nearby rebels, which I never bother to kill, and when they're needed, bring them back to the city.

    As mentioned above, to lower/catch spies & assasins you need to have your cities occupied by your own stealth monsters
