Laptops for playing RTW/EB

I'm intending to buy myself a laptop and I will want to play EB on it. I've already tried playing Vanilla on a borrowed laptop and it was weird (the soldier's feet were little points) and slow.

What kind of laptop do I need so that EB will work normally? I assume the biggest problem is the graphic card.

You should have:
CPU >1.4GHz, or similar dual-core
at least 1GB RAM, if you have a on-board GPU with shared memory better 1,5GB
256MB GPU

Nearly all actual laptops should have this equipment, as long as you don't buy a netbook, or subnotebook.
Note that these are minimal requirements, the better you have, the better EB will run.

As a side note, it could come to problems using a on-board graphic chip and not a separate GPU.

All this my personal opinion, my laptop has 2,4 dualcore, 3GB RAM, 512MG GPU and Vista and runs it perfectly.

Also, you can play on low graphics settings, but make sure that unit shaders is on in-battle. This makes certain that you won't have the pointy legs.
