EB on RTW:BI Steam version?

Hmm, I think this would be the right place to post this. So anyway I was wondering if there is any way to get EB to run on the steam version of RTW which automatically includes Barbarian Invasion. I already did some digging around and found the thread with the fix for EB running on BI, but it still won't work. See the problem is in creating the shortcut. Steam doesn't like user created shortcuts trying to start a game inside the steam folders. When I try and start the shortcut fails to find steam and won't start. If anyone knows a work around for this I would be very thankful because I have seem to have lost my boxed version of the game.

Edit: okay like 15 minutes after posting this I found a work around and It's so obvious. If anyone wants me to explain how I managed to get it to work I"ll post it.

Please post it anyway, I doubt you are the only one who thinks about playing EB on BI while using Steam.

The first thing you want to do is find oleo's instructions here http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showth...13#post1433613 and follow his instructions as normal. The only thing you need change is where you put the shortcut tagline. Open up your steam games library and right click Rome: total war gold edition. From there go to properties and select set launch option. In the text box that pops up add the tagline -mod:eb -nm -show_err and click ok. To play EB start RTW:BI from your steam games library.
