In Rome (Or M2, Empire, Napoleon as I play them all often) you often get this situation, and I want to know if it increases your chance of being attacked by a nation you were peaceful with.
Here's the situation, the example I will use here is Rhodes. The Greeks (AI) Egyptians (AI), and the Carthaginians (me)
* At the start of the game Rhodes belongs to the Greeks
* Lets say the AI controlled Egyptians declare war on Greece and capture Rhodes...so it is now Egyptian.
* Then later on there is a war between the Carthaginians (me) and the Egyptians, and I capture Rhodes off of them, so now I control Rhodes, and kick out the Egyptians.
What I want to know is does the game make Greece more likely to declare war on me, as I am occupying their city, but I captured it from the Egyptians. In the total war games does this indirect occupation of cities hurt your standing with their original owners, even though directly you haven't been at war with them.
Hope I make sense (let me know if I don't)
