    Default Historical Battle?

    Is there any way to play historical battle using this mod? i already tried anything possible to make it work after transfering map file from vanilla (arsuf and tannenberg) like editing the "Baghlah" unit. but the game crash during the loading sequence.

    anyone can help me?

    In transferring a map from one mod to another, you'll have some text editing to do with the descr_battle.txt file. Most likely you need to change the map grid location so it'll match with the new campaign map.

    Open your descr_battle.txt file.

    ; >>>> start of battle section <<<<
    battle 136, 46 <<<<<<<<<< That's where you fix the map grid.
    battle_time 12.00 24.00
    weather clear

    Now also with historicals ....... Units and Generals Names may also have to be Edited in that same descr_battle.txt file. Basically the data there needs to match up with your Mod data which can differ from mod to mod.

    Try using this file. I made it a few days ago for Hordes Heroes & Beyond, but I'm sure it'll work with the "vanilla" version of the mod.

    just install to your "Medieval II Total War\mods" folder

    of course, the coordinates need reworking, but other than that, they should work.
