No the fast forward button should work, try without clicking on the back button the whole replay (that was what caused the mistake in one of my replays...)

So i replaced the cameras and never clicked back but i continue to have that fault rendering . Guess the replay is broken . Will upload tomorrow evening the result on youtube . Cant do it today since both sides of the battle needs to be manipulated by a player during the battle .

I always do more than one replay, the first time i controll one side, the next tiem the other side and i cut the scenes together so it seems to be one battle - works really well

Well it is kinda difficult to do ,since i want it to be as accurate as possible . I need pikes and spears standing in a line at the edge of a forest being charged by some cav . The AI wont charge pikes with cav ,and they wont stay put so i dont have any options im afraid ....good idea though

    Ok this is it .

But tbh im really disappointed ,the quality of the rendering is so bad.
And due to the 2 min limit i had to cut half of the first day and rushed the 2nd day due to text descr of the battle to give an overview.

Well from my perspective, that render quality is pretty good for a 480p, non-HD. Have you tried Lewis' HD add-on that he links in a post earlier in this thread? That may help.

Now, onto the content. Mate, that was very very original and entertaining!! I couldn't spot any tech flaws. If you want to submit that as your final assignment, it is an easy pass. Your fps was good, the story was engaging, and I think all the text really helped. Great music too. I loved the in-helmet cam This vid is a wonderful gem mate, you should be very proud of your work here.

Indeed, it can be found on page 5. Remember the Enhancement Pack 2010, which includes that HD addon only can be used in Windows Movie Maker 2.6. The good thing about it is that it allows you to select what you want to install, so if you are only interested in the HD option, you can simply just install that. It comes with some nice stuff though, so it's a worth a go trying out the other things available in the pack.

Excellent video too, I am very impressed, certainly your efforts have paid off! That helmet cam was a very good idea, I love originality.

@Nanny Remember it's not my HD fix, I simply found it! hehe

    ok,
i finnaly got around to uploading the draft to youtube.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktWb7spwwdE

there are several things i know need doing , such as it needs to be shorter, needs ingame music, and worst of all i forgot to put the name of the mod in the video

thankfuly the worst error is the most easily fixed. My final version will be posted tonight or tommarow on the dealine, onwords to part five....

(a small question, if movie maker says it is version 6.0 the enhancment pack will not work, correct?)

Hey there! Glad we haven't lost you mate

Which Windows version are you running...Vista or 7? This may have impact on whether or not you can use that enhancement pack.

You've already identified a few things you'll be changing in your next version, so that is good. Now, take a look at the Lesson 5 final requirements to pass, and you'll get other ideas on what needs to be done. The main thing I noticed are the visible elements on the screen that need to be edited out, such as flashes of unit cards and the visible mouse cursor. Where those appear, in the case of the unit cards, those clips need to be pared down and edited to remove them. In the case of the cursor, depending on whether or not you can use the Lewis overlays, you can either hide them or those parts will have to be edited out completely.

    Good luck mate cheers!

if you are running vista, you should, in theory, be able to run Lewis add-on packs.

oh ok, i'll defenitly try it then.

it installed alright, but i tried to open a previous movie and it said it was created in a version that was unsuported, so apperantly i could use it if i wanted, i'd just have to remake my movie.

on a side note, i cant seem to use the overlays and since i thought the mouse wasnt being recorded it appears in pretty much all the clips. (although i was able to edit out the unit cards)

well, for those unable to use overlays because of their computer's limitations, we've given lee-way for Lesson 5, so if a few key scenes in your final product have a visible mouse that's ok.
