Working on the Roman Rebellion? Or playing any other faction? We seem to have a lot of Beta testers come in lately, but I'm seeing very few reports.

I am trying on 1-turn. i have 29 provinces. One day i think I'll reach it
Haven't reported in a while, so as you've asked in here, here is my Roman campaign:
I'm currently at 41 regions, I think...
At the beginning of the campaign (first rebellion) Tarentum and Rhegion rebelled against me (I thought it was Capua and one more random south Italian city?), I've abandoned Dyrrhachium (which Macs took) and sent the general to recapture them with Publius Cornelius Scipio's legion.
Afterwards everything went fine for a couple of years (buyed Bononia and Patavium from Boii, captured Genoa, Taurasia, Mediolanium) and then Free Greeks attacked me. Bad luck started as my fleet carrying a full legion with my faction leader was sunk by Carthaginians near African shore, another fleet with full legion with faction leader near Sagunton (both fleets were 2 triremes and 4 biremes, silver armour and sword).
I've been at peace with Macs for over 25 years, so I figured since I've captured Massalia, Syracuse and recaptured Emporium I might aswell invade Carthaginians in Spain... so I send 3-4 legions and having almost no problem (except Carthago Nova where I had to defend against 4 full stacks).
One thing though... Carthaginian army (I think after the emergency levy script) is stranded just east of Carthago Nova and it cannot move nor be attacked. Also it contains a general's bodyguard, but not a general, if you know what I mean.
Arverni and Gallaeci have then betrayed me. It took 3 more legions and some years to defeat Gallaeci and conquer whole Spain and I'm in a tough war against Arverni in Gaul still (captured Gergovia, Lugdunum and Bibracte though). Also Boii have started a war, so I've sent two experienced legions from Spain to deal with them. I've also brought war to North Africa and captured five cities from Carthaginians, so they are left with just three more and my general (Scipio) might soon acquire Africanus trait (can't wait!).
The traits are doing well... in the first rebellion, my leader acquired the trait Dictator of the Republic and then after the threat (Hannibal) was over Former Dictator of the Republic. Several family members now are Senators and Senatorial Class members and I've seen traits like Consul, ProConsul, ProPraetor, Quaestor (quite often), Tribune of Plebs, Tribunus (no Legatus though).
Also in Lugdunum after you've built the third tier of barracks (roman) you can only recruit a general, when in other settlements (I think all) you can also recruit some mercenaries.
Anything else you'd like to know? I will continue my campaign tomorrow probably...
I'm working on a Roman and Seleucid campaign... i'll report in the Empires thread soon... maybe with a save for rebellion testing? they're pretty dead though...

Worry not, dvk. I am in right now, but I'll be leaving for next 6 days. I hope you found my latest report helpful- next is going to be realised in similiar fashion. I just don't know what faction should I start next time. I tried Carthage and did well.
I have been playing rome and got to around 40 provinces but i have a repeat CTD on the free peoples turn and can't get passed it, and i recently found fraps was not saving my photos anywhere i could find so all my shots are not there
Oh, DVK. One thing I did notice - in the Roman campaign, shouldn't the passes in the Alps be able to have roads running through them, because I think the one above Patavium doesn't have a road, whereas the next one to the west of it does. Shouldn't they be consistent?
