Hello,

I am proud to annouce that the gaming community Slackers Gaming will be hosting a Napoleon: Total War tournament.
The tournament will be a 1v1 Elimination tournament, i.e. the winner of a 1v1 progresses to the next round, against another winner of a 1v1.

Tournament Rules and Information
Battle Type: 1v1
Funding: Large
Unit Size: Large
Maps: Grassy Flatlands, Pyramids orAmazon Confluence(The two players must agree on the map)
Unit Restrictions: No Fixed or20lb Unicorns.
Common Sense Rules: Obviously no cheating, wether that be force firing or using 3rd party programs to gain an unfair advantage on your opponent.

Proving Victory: Although I doubt people will try to pull anything like this, it is still a precaution that must be taken. After the battle, both players should take a printscreen/save the replay. This is just so we are sure that nobody faked being the opposition and faked a win. Accusations of being unfairly played against can also be handled in the same way, by saving the replay and presenting it to Tournament managers.



Once we have 8 people signed up, a table will be drawn up and posted here.
The information here may be out of date, or not in full. For full information on happenings going on with the tournament, the latest information will be on the SlackersGaming forum once the tournament has begun.

Signing Up
All signing up should be posted on this thread, or send via a PM or steam message, confirming that you will be taking part in this tournament. SteamIDs will be required, and should be given along with confirmation of your play, but if you wish for your ID to be held away from public view, you may PM me with it.

And the times are flexible, to be arranged between both opponents. But all matches need to be done sometime close to each other, so we can move toward a winner of the tournament ;]

I will let you know if anyone is unable to make the matches, but currrently everything is set to go ahead as planned.

After seeing the success here, SlackersGaming is sure that more events will be hosted in the near future, so keep a watch on this area of the forum for more info as plans develop.

Is this going to be a best of 3 matches for each round? And can u confirm what the rules are?

Its a single match, and you between you and your opponent, you must decide on which map you want to play: Grassy Flatlands, Pyramids or Amazon Confluence.
