A little help and an explination.

I was trying to avoid downloading 4.2 till I knew if i liked this mod so i went to download the 3.0 hud fix...Any reason why norton thinks its a trojan?

Now for the help part.

4.2 CTD fix yes?

I do not know why Norton thinks its a trojan based on the information provided, however it is suggested that you temporarily disable any virus protection software while attempting to download these files.

If you are only interested in v3.0 then refer to the corresponding installation instructions for that version which will require the fixes. However I believe that 4.2 is a much better version of the game. If you are satisfied with it, you may want to consider Heroes, Hordes and Beyond sub-mod which continues to build on the KGCM while retaining the same feel and playability.

Ok so I use the steam version yea I figured out it wasn't installin 100% correct reason why it wouldn't work, so I let it do what it wants i did it all in bulk and copied n pasted it to the medieval mods folder:WORKS perfectly. No crashes, no UI error, only thing I've noticed is the teutonic order/kingdoms factions have local voices (I.E Teutonic=German, not yelling TEUTONIC SWORDSMEN!)

Is this proper or did I it up further?

normal, Teutonic Knights were German, they will often say something about HRE, Emperor etc. in their speeches.
same with the crusading factions, ones French and the other British.

I have no link but heard it in my sicilian campaign. At one point it discussed the size of a gardeners ass orifice....all quite shocking really.
