    Default Chrome problem- CLOSED

    When I try to load any webpage (besides home), the attached error comes up. I don't understand it, what should I do?

    wow. I just reinstalled it but nothing fixed it. Does anyone know why this could be happening? I love chrome and would hate not to be able to use it

    use Opera it has all the features of Chrome+ more and is faster

    Okay, but i don't feel like changing browsers atm. Do you have any ideas on how to fix the problem? I tried a system restore but nada

    uninstall it, then completely wipe it from your computer then reinstall it

    You need to install the latest version of Microsoft's .net framework.

    I just updated the .net frameworks, but I still have the problem. Any other suggestions?

    It looks more like a Windows problem than a Chrome problem perhaps. Did you try Googling the error code? That might give you some answers.

    of course I have, and there were no straight answers. Some said reinstall worked, some said updating .net would work.. :/

    I don't like Opera.

    I've tried from both quick launch, desktop, and start menu.

    Usually, I can get it to work. Like now, I'm on Chrome. However, usually i cannot open a new tab, I have to find a random link, hit open in a new tab, and then change the url.

    EDIT: I've decided to just use firefox again. Thanks for the attempt at helping. +rep
