Settled topic. Israel admitted to its use after lying about it and attempting a cover up, and was internationally condemned.

More important is the siege of Gaza which followed these acts. Today Israel permits no building material to repair and replace their destruction and allows in under a quarter of the aid required every month.

It was proven that it was used in civilian areas (the whole of Gaza is essentially a civilian area) which is illegal. What more do you want?

Would you usually set of WP in your house? WP is an incendiary material. Use of in populated areas implies risk of casualties.

That is, in case you survive the burns, both external and internal, the blindness and phosphorus poisoning. We won't be intentionally trying to kill you, of course. check out the article that eran produced, scroll down through "usage in WWII" to "effects on people" and after reading both paragraphs and especially after seeing the picture tell me you don't see tactical usage.

I would love some sources for these claims.

The fact that other nations used it (especially under circumstances that you haven't specified) is irrelevant. Israel, a developed country with a professional army used white phosphorous in densely populated urban areas, which is illegal under international law. That others may or may not have broken the law does not make Israel's usage of it any less reprehensible, or when someone gets murdered do you simply shrug and say "meh, other people do it"?

Nothing wrong with using WP in combat

I condemed the US when they used it, it is a chemical weapon no matter how people spin it.

Israel has ratified the Geneva conventions. It has signed but not ratified the Chemical weapons Convention.
