Arch of Augustus (27 B.C) and Tiberius Bridge (14-21 A.D.).
- The arch is a symbol of the pax romana, there was no doors under it. At the top of the arch there was a bronze statue of Augustus on a quadriga.
- It's incredible that still today car transit is allowed on the bridge!!! (after all, it resisted many demolition attempts made by nazi army during the final years of WW2!).
