Out of Range

I suddenly started getting an "Out of Range" error when starting the game. I didn't make any changes and it shut down ok the last time I played it. The error is in the center of a red box on an all black screen. I hear the music playing in the back ground but the error doesn't go away. I've tried uninstall/reinstall but it still fails. Any ideas?
