FOE - Financial advice for Carthaginians

Hi there
after surviving the Carthaginian Campaign in FOE I wanted to share some experiences here.
I hope it's O.K. that I took the RTR-map as a basic

Of course it was a challenging Campaigne and hard at the beginning. It takes some time till you earn enough money to feel a little bit more safe. But everything developed good and I really enjoyed the game. No doubt...FOE rocks
@ PatricianS In the last 'quarter' of the game I played 'faster', so I didn't earn much money and spend all I had into some expensive units and so on. And there is not much money to get in the land of the Gauls. At the end I had 2 armies in the north and 2 armies in the south to give the Romans the deathblow...

And I'm very happy to hear you could only afford four armies at the end of the campaign... Stopping the next to unlimited flows of money in the late campaign was one of our main goals

@PatricianS Never had the feeling that there are unlimited flows of money. I might say in the middle of the game I earned between 20.000 and 40.000 after every turn and Carthago reached the highest level and trained useful Governors and Generals! (some black sheep needed to be killed in hopeless sea battles)
