High Elven Generals

I'm playing HE in the RC/RR submod, and as of turn 50 I only have 6 generals. Am I supposed to have more and how do I get more?

Only way to get generals are either A- Adoption B- Waiting for your baby sons to grow up. Keep in mind it is 4 turns a year.


Also I believe that if you get the highest barrack level and recruit General's Bodyguard you get a General but, that might be the other Total War games.

The game will offer you to adopt some character in your family, I get adoption request almost every turn

That was most likely a mod, definetily not vanilla.
The recruitment of generals is very easy to mod for yourself, but it's not possible in TATW.

If u win a Historical victory then the general can be "man of the hour" same as adopt almost.
If u have girls in ur family then they Will get offed a husband to marry in the family

I have quite a few generals, half of them are of Elronds descendants and half are adopted.

I have found that all of Elronds descendants, even 3rd generation have high command ratings compared to those that are not of his line (playing RR/RC)
