    Default Audio Problem

    When I try to launch it says "failed to initialise 3D audio"

    I haven't a clue what I did wrong - any ideas?

    Are you using a separate sound card or the one on your motherboard?

    Yes I'm on vista.

    I'm pretty sure my sound card is the one on my motherboard. I haven't changed anything to do with sound since getting the PC.

    try goto sounds, digital output, advanced, then either dvd or studio quality. Let me know if helps
