my system specs are fine x4 955, 4gb of ram, etc. This is very dissapointing, CA or ATI NEED to look into this.

whats the problem? its the lod? well that is standard. there is no way to change that without a mod.

so you can take a look at the modding section and see if one is not ready yet, or you can just ask the modder who did this mod for etw and ask him to do it for ntw

the lod uses predetermined distance, its is just a simple rotation on the wheel that can make a great difference.

yes its normal, you got understand that the sprites are 2d images, and so that's why they'll look better in some point of views

I know for a fact it is not normal, the distance at which LOD changes is way to short, in all the videos and screenshots ive seen it has never been this close up. The only way I can enjoy battles is if im zoomed in on the units. It is a real gamebreaker.

I dont see a problem with it...looks fine. And if mean official screens and vids..then they most likely edited it to make it look better on purpose. You can try the Duffer's render mod...ive noticed a better looking LOD in that mod.

I have the same problem with my ati 5970, my units use to disappear from a distance but turning the catalyst AI of solves this, however the units appear blurry from a distance and i can only appreciate the detail and texture quality this card gives zoomed in, can anyone solve this pls, by the way i have tried all the drivers and am currently using 10.5

I think you are right Gmoney39513. The thing is tho is that the graphics were fine when i first installed driver 10.3 then i updated to 10.4 (as u do) then the problem comes back, i've tried driver sweeper to get rid of all the driver and i've even unistalled and reinstalled windows 7.

What manufacture did you get your card from, maby that has something to do with it ( I have a xfx black edition card)

It seems that the game auto-adjusts the settings according to available VRam. That's why we get sprites even with the ultra setting.

Is there any solution to this? That's weird considering I have 1gb of VRam.

that answers to a lot of problems here!

and actually answers to people that changing the lod settings may cause the game to crash, aside other issues. I was impressed at those answers
