Well can you blame them? The graphics at least look spectacular. By the way, just as I extended my offer to CTW, if you guys want to talk about scripts, there's a LOT you guys could do in regard to the Crusades, and in general with making the mod interactive, dynamic, and have a believable sense of history. Just bring things up here, we could brainstorm.

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty,
the tranquility of servitude greater than
the animating contest for freedom, go
home from us in peace. We seek not
your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch
down and lick the hand that feeds you,
and may posterity forget that ye were
    our countrymen."

They are however, historically accurate, from what i gather. Makes em look demonic.

Little treat today before I head off to school. I was playing a battle (testing out new militia skins, real preview tonight) and my grandmasters standard bearer was killed. The standard ended up sticking up in a very cool way that just screamed screenshot. its 1024x768 and makes a pretty darn good wallpaper (I'm using it myself).

Wow...Now if you could get more bodies into that screenshot, it'd be movie-like...
I've got half a mind to kill you...and the other half agrees.

    That looks sooo awesome!

How do you think it will run, performance-wise? Wil it be slower/faster that RTR, for example. I only ask because my computer is weak as, and I had to downgrade from large to normal unit sixes when I got RTR 6.

It will run alittle slower then RTR on weaker computers if you want the units to be in all their glory. However medium and lower settings will run normally ince they wont have all the crazy do-dads like belts and scabbards.

I know this is for BI but will you be releasing a costum battle bèta for RTW Vanilla as well? (Following Chivalry's approach.)

    BTW: These skins are upper-class!
(Who will be making the skins for RTR 7.0 then??)

This is a small preview courteous of Lord Caius. Here are some of the relics that you may run into in The Crusades.

Really nice. But 'Update of the Week'? Only one update per week now?

    Oh the pain! So agonising...

Anyway, I seem to remember that you were going to redo the RTR Gauls a while back, is that not happening anymore ('cause man those 6.2 Germans were cool)?
