[HoI3] Rare Materials

Is there a easy way to get this except from trading? I annexed a few countries so nobody will trade with me and im always out of rare materials so is there a country who has a lot i could try and invade?

The main rare material region is Malaya, although it means you have to jump on British for that.

Yeah well Germany just went all out on France so i got dragged into a war with them against everyone and Japan are steamrolling there way towards India now so there shouldnt be much hassle.

Theres only one other thing im having problems with and thats supplies is there a way to make a supply base as my country has about two now and at the borders of my country there always running out of supplys.

Romania i went to war with most of the balkans have just finished taking all of that area and conquered turkey quite easily they didnt seem to bother defending at all.

So now im in Africa and cant get enough supplies to fight the british which is killing all my organisation so there starting to kick my ass even though i got tons more troops than them.

I dont understand the question. Are you not producing enough supplies? Do you have a land connection to your troops?

I got the max amount of supplies have a land connection to the area but no supplies are getting there i think its because the supply base is all the way back at Romania so i was wondering if their is a way to build another supply base in Africa somehow.

ah, the supply system in HOI3 is pretty boned man. I think you need to improve the infrastruture in what makes up the land connection. IIRC, you cant build a new supply base i'm afraid.

Oh right well that has screwed me up pretty good got to build roads in all of Africa lol. Thanks for the help though.

Sorry i couldnt help more. They intend to "fix" the logistics system when Semper Fi is released. In the mean time, you can build just one "road/rail" (infrastructure in just a line of provinces not all the provinces so that it connects to your armies from your capital). Perhaps pulling some men out may lighten the load.

Yeah ill try that i think it was ok battling their before the Italians, Austrians and Hungarians came with all their armys and dumped them in Africa thats when the problem occured. So ill see if i can return them back.

Ill just give Eu3 ago seems i bought that as well and come back to this game later it got a bit boring with the supply issue.

I got this same problem in my last Germany campaign which I just ended in 1944. I was Germany. I owned a tiny portion of France (Italy took France XD) Half of Holland, and Belgium with Italy. I owned all of HUngary, Czechs and POland Lithuania Turkey Iraq etc etc. I have Estonia Finland Sweden Romania Afghanistan Iran Japan Italy as Axis. I have that problem in Iraq. My units get held up pretty bad in Iran/Iraq. You see the British attacked the Iranians when they joined the Axis, and luckily I had around 20,000 troops in Iraq to help them. Its gone good even with no supplies but still...
