    Default CTD

I installed RTW patched to 1.5 (moved it from my programme files as I'm on vista) installed EB 1.1 then 1.2 added fixes for 1.2.
I can play custom battles np but I crash when ever I try to start a campaign.
I pick a faction (I've tried a few to make sure it wasn't just one) click the arrow to start and CTD.

Uninstalled & reinstalled same thing ...

I've ran the install check thingie and the note pad is attched.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

Edit : Turning off movies has got it working

Just one more thing, is there a way to get the speaking back to normal? I like to understand what's being said. Thx

The solution is presented in the OP, turn off the movies, either by using the setting dialog of the Trivial Script or by editing your shortcut (you will have to add -nm to the target line)

Are any sub-mods installed? Please run validation.bat and post your results here, we can then see if your installation is changed.

This looks fine. If you are using Vista/Win7 move the EB folder outside Program Files or install new. The last one would be a good idea in any case, stick to How to install EB if you have questions.
