What are the starting and ending dates of RS2?
Starts at the time of the battle of Lake Trasimeno, so 217 BC. Ends circa 150 AD-ish. But the dates are shown using the roman calendar (AUC = ab urbe condita, - "since the founding of the city), in which 753 BC (the date of the traditional foundation of Rome) is year 1 AUC. So you'll actually see it as 536 AUC. We use this format to avoid a CTD that occurs in the 60s AD when the game tries to force the vanilla Roman factions to fight eachother (as there's only one Roman faction in RS 2 and we've gotten rid of the Senate), this would cause a CTD if we stuck with the BC/AD system.

Does the game stop or something like that or you can continue your campaign after 150ad ?
You lose the campaign, however, I think that's highly unlikely you'll ever get that far.
Ive got past the victory condition end date on medieval 2, but it was just the same as usual, just with me owning all the provinces apart from a few rebel ones, i wanted to see what happened-it turns out that nothing happens, it just keeps going till the end of time.![]()
Whatever happens at the end of the vanilla campaign happens in RS2, as far as I'm aware.![]()

As long as you have already met the victory conditions, you can play as long as you wish. If you haven't met them, you lose.

You could have some truly epic super states if you went on for, oh, 500 years if it wasn't a complete domination.
