Mouse defect? What should I do?

Hi all. My new imperator came, and it is excellent, except I have one problem. It seems some of the shiny side trim (like where your thumb goes, except on the opposite side) is sticking out some. It rubs my vespula, and I don't want it to damage it any more than it already has. What should I do? Idk about Razer warranty, doy you think I could get an exchange?
