the artist says he wanted to get a kind of gladiatorial look to him and painted him white as he personally thinks its more impressive (like his men, who wore white and didnt clean their gear so much so was stained in blood, heh. the artist considers him a more down to the gritty business with his men ala his origins than other primarchs)
as for proprtions penguin: no idea how u think he is badly proportioned :/ the guy that painted that pic has some AMAZING wh40k pics. that is but one. and they are all meticulously detailed and perfectly proportioned (as far as we can go with primarchs, anyway) - u will also note that the primarchs were of varying heights and builds.
How can you say that when he is literally the only thing in the picture?
