Default Is this a Rome-centric mod?

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but is this a Rome-centric mod to the point where all the other factions aern't nearly as developed as Rome? I looked in the "post your empire" thread, and most people had Rome as their faction, which leads me to believe this is true. Am I correct in my assumption?

Not completely. A lot of us that play don't have Rome as our favorite faction. Rome just has a bit more depth due to all their multiple legions and the level of management the faction needs. The other factions can be just as fun, if not more so. Personally, I avoid the Rome campaign, even though I tried it once.

I think what mkes the mods so good, esp RS is that you don;t need to play as Rome and still have a blast. Try out the Greek City states or esp Macedon, which is just a cracking faction to play with, esp after you've conquered all of Rome!

No, an immense amount of work went into the other factions as well when it comes to unit rosters, visual quality, etc.

I'll give it that the factions don't have as much depth as Rome, but that's not to mean they don't have tailored victory conditions and a wide amount of possible things to recruit and have their own flavor.

There is less visual variety in the stock recruitable units, but there's a ton of mercenaries that makes it basically okay.

It is only Rome Centric depending on what faction you play, RSII may be more Rome Centric since they will take more of the map, but in my parthian campaign for example its not romanocentric at all. All factions are very well developed, and will be much better the second time around in Roma Surrectum II

RS2 is not rome-centric at all, every faction has an amazing amount of detail and its own varied campain modfolder but rome still has all its legions and well, for me at least rome is the greatest faction to play with.

Rome has the most work put into it, but all factions are uniquely designed. The Egyptians have some unique units, the Macedonians have a variety of phalanxes, most Greek City-States have their own custom City Hoplites, and there are no incendiary pigs . Pspguy I think you would like this mod. It adds more than rosters, you know

The upcoming and soon to be released Roma Surrectum 2 is by no means Romano-centric. But these people are lying to you if they say that 1.6 isn't focused on Rome. Most of the factions in RS1.6 got little or absolutely no attention, and are more or less the same as vanilla.

In terms of RS1.6 I consider only the Romans, Free Greeks, and maybe a couple of Barbarian factions to be truly playable.

Rome is № 1 in this mod, but other nations are good too. Macedon is exellent, for example

Well rome is far from my favourite faction, actually I pretty much hate Rome but I love this mod. I'm enjoying a nice Carthaginian campaign at the moment and have had some great German and Greek campaigns too. There's far more to be had out of Roma Surrectum than just it's title faction.
