there is of course no concrete evidence that it will be shogun 2, or any evidence to suggest it wont. The sudden deletion of posts with no reason left in their places makes it all look very fishy

yep,how soon they forget.

And of course it may not be only a Shogun 2 title but that Japan may be a part of the title as a whole (a TW game that covers Asia) and they are just trying to keep the flames of rumor under control until they announce it. Makes sense but they know how rabid we are for knowledge around here so giving their hints so far from announce date was their gamble.

EDIT: and I was in no way suggesting that Lusted deleted anything just stating that he had visited the thread that got deleted and before I could post in it it had already been removed.

shogun 2 will have to have the chinese empire in it, for starters

ive still got the feeling that feudal japan will not quite have as much appeal with a high number of TW fans.

Although i will no doubt buy and enjoy any TW game released (As i always have done), its just not a area of history that im really interested in

oh just to add a bit of confusion ,, ca have 2 studios one in surrey england and the other in aus,, word is they are both working on separate tw games,
so we may still get the rome 2

Australian Studio is no longer part of CA, they declared independence and they are making Sport game.

slightly un-related, but i like the thought of a office just simply 'declaring independence' from the rest of the company

oh and just to make things more interesting , the author simon scarrows novels about the roman legions,, cato and macro are the main characters,, is going to be made in to a movie
and i mean a blockbuster, so this in itself will generate a massive interest in this period of time,, should be out about the same time as ca,s new tiltles, early 2011
