    Weather conditions:

How is the impact of weather conditions on the field of battle. It is an important element in the strategy, which for now is limited always to the good weather, do not mind fighting in a fog or rain, if I achieve the desired effect, but the problem I have is - what to choose? How change the unit statistics at storm, rain, fog or snow? If the opponent has a large number of firing units (archers), it is better to choose an attack in fog or rain?

I'll be happy to be corrected on this but I don't think weather actually affects anything aside from obscuring your view and being a pest.

Pretty sure that all effects of weather on battle were removed from M2TW apart from the aforementioned vision impairment

I thought that is some reason that AI very often choose bad weather conditions when I had a lot of archer units, for example when they must attack settlement or castle or in the battlefield.Snow or heavy rain.

In fact I marked during a battle, performed in extreme terms at the strong fallouts of snow, the visibility was incredibly weak what allowed to me on the best attacks from a surprise by mounted units, that is why I set this question. I won very fast and easily when I suprise opponent

Yes, it is even mentioned in the coding if you look up the individual arrows. And God's breath there is a lot of arrow types...

They just had this discussion in Third Age forum and it seems most of the mods have few effects for arrows based on weather but there is code for arrows to be greatly effected if wanted. I think it would be interesting but probably make things even more difficult for the AI.

Night should really impact the archer fire, as should fog and everything else that disrupts vision. I usually avoid the bad weather if I'm the attacked, so I hit wait until I get a nice weather scenario, or until I run out of tries xD
