I don't believe that they won the wars. I do however believe that if it wasn't for them the wars would have been lost.

This is a horrible thread. Seriously I think there should be a test you should take for common sense before one is allowed to post a poll. The answer isn't YES or NO. The US was a major player on the Allies, who won. It's not a freaking yes/no. Wtf?!

I was gonna say the same thing.

USA was instrumental in the First World War. At the same time though, Hitler would've been able to concentrate his entire army against the Soviets on the eastern front if it wasn't for Operation Overlord, the D-Day landings.

It's a tricky question. In the end though, in my opinion, WW-II would've had a very different outcome if it wasn't for America.

Most of the USA's equipment during WWII came from France and Britain. It was kind of the opposite of lend-lease.

I have to be a smartass here and say That We delt the killer blow in both wars. Lets be honest and put the pride away, The Americans supplyed the british and others with ammo, tanks etc fuel, sure the british others made ammo tanks but VERY Few and the british main tanks where american, british tanks where very far and inbetween they also used american ammo food etc. in both wars it would have been impossiable for the allies to have won with out america, it shames them to admit it but its truth....Germany was eating the allies lunch in the first world war, and the brits where just about finished. IN the Second war, the brits where kicked out of europe and being kicked out of almost everywhere by the japs. And in come the americas not only supplying themselfs but also feeding, and rearming the allies, and We come in and attack the germans the japs etc etc, with out us the brits, canadians french etc, had no prayer of ever invadeing europe again. they did so on ur backs. the british where pretty insigeificant in asia, again needing america. to air drop supplys to the aussies and kiwis etc. We where the back bone of the wars, we didnt start them, but we finished them.

Also the germans sooner or later would have turned there focus back on the brits after chewing up the russians.

The allies where indeed blessed beyound question to have Us....We pushed back the germans on D-day while the british and canadians where stalled....How on earth would the british have takein europe back? do you think the british could have pushed the germans back out of frace alone and kicked the japs ass at the same time with there military in the state it was after being pushed out? Or accepting humiliateing terms from the germans in the first world war? We have been alot of things good or bad, but we have been europes guardian angel.

Of course militarywise the US "won", but in reality she lost. She indebted herself hopelessly for the benefit of the banksters, also she helped keeping communism alive alongside with the monetary debt slavery we (=the western world) are trapped in now.
Germany was a racist state, but the reforms she set in place offered a true alternative to the banking- and political system we are currently suffering from.
WW2 was tragic, and we all still suffer from that tragedy without even knowing.
WW2 never ended.

The guns just moved from a european/pacific theatre to other places. And no, it did not end. The US is continueously under war since then.



You know that graphic and I dont post it in order to bash americans, but its an impressive yet no complete list of wars she was engaged in. Those wars are not separated from WW2, they belong to a larger context that now in our times seems to reach its climax.

In case of germany, that country still has no peace treaty. The naval forces, the air force and the army capitulated, but the Reich did not. Legally, germany is still under rule of the allies and anything but independent.
The state you see today, "federal reublic of germany" was never intended to be- nor is the legal- successor of the german reich. When the "constitution" was shown to the public, it was clarified by Carlo Schmid, that this was no real constitution and not the creation of the successor of the reich. All the FRG was meant to be:
An interim arrangement till the country would be reunified. Nobody had expected this would last 60 years... and its not even really unified, as a third of her territory has still not come back.
Stalin made a proposal to germany in march ´52 I think, where he offered her the complete reunification. Only demand: No entry in NATO. Adenauer (first german post war chancellor) denied- propably cause of the allied wire pullers that set him into power.

As pointed out by germany´s highest court on 1972, the german reich still exists in her former territories, but has no institutional manifestation. A peace treaty would mean, the immediate dissolution of the Federal Republic of Germany, understandably the ruling class has no real interest in that.In case of germany WW2 is not over.

Before asking the question if the US won the war, I´d rather clarify if its really over.
