Just think about, everwhere she goes, people die in mysterious ways. When Jessica Fletcher comes to stay at your house, you had better pray to whatever deity you believe in that you don't get bumped off in the night.
Every single episode ends with a shot of her smiling or laughing. Why? Because she knows that she has gotten away with murder, yet again. Despite claiming to not have any information on the crimes, she somehow manages to 'solve' them, pinning the blame on someone else. Anyway, how is it that a novelist is even allowed such access to ongoing cases? Obviously she intimidates or cajoles the local law enforcement into her nefarious schemes, being the great sociopath that she is.
The theme song is odd enough, a happy, upbeat theme; not exactly what you'd expect for a show in which at least one person is guaranteed to die in each and every episode.
Yes, I am bored.
