Default Regarding the March of Time

Hello there EB community, first of, let me say that this is an absolutely great mod, I love it!

But I'm curious regarding the March of Time, as far as I've understood, it's the reforms of Gaius Marius triggering the new army?

Though, in my current campaign pretty much all my starting cities have got the highest upgrade and the March of Time has been triggered, yet the armies are still polybian, is that correct or have I stumbled upon a bug?

The vanilla March of Time is just there to unlock troops (and the Late General's Bodyguard) that the EB team couldn't put in separate reforms. The instructions for the Marian Reforms are in the FAQ.

One question about the March of Time: How many troops (and which ones) will be unlocked for the various factions?
In my Baktrian campaign I got Late Bodyguards but that seems the only change for them, or?
And when e.g. playing Epeiros in a previous campaign I defeated the Romans before the event. Would I have gotten better units later when the Romans would have survived?

Nope. Only a few new bodyguards for the Eastern faction and reformed phalanxes for Makedonia and KH.

Ok so no great loss when the March of Time never happens?

edit: How about these new phalanxes for Macedon and KH. Will I miss them in my campaign?
Don´t know maybe do defeat stronger Egyptian or Seleucid ones?

The major bonus of the reformed phalanx for Makedonia is not the stats of the unit (high stats with a bit less tolerance for heat, I recall their type goes from leather to metal ) but its AOR. You can recruit em in South Italy, all over Greece and western Anatolia, Crimea. Egypt, Messopotamia and Baktria.

For KH, the phalanx is a usefull addition but you can survive without it anyway. Although having a phalanx of your own to pin down the enemy ones makes your battles way easier.
Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe that they are in good company.

Is there a list to all changes per faction that take place during the march of time event in v1.2?
Can the march of time event still be achieved if Romans aren't the ones to develop Italy to fullest potential?
What are all changes made with march of time event with all factions?

You can do without the upgraded phalanxes, but those upgraded eastern bodyguards, especially Baktria's, are awesome.

Thanks Athanaric. Very sexy. Someone who has skills should put this in the guides section along with a full change and pictures of all reforms for all factions...NOW THAT WOULD BE SOMETHING!
