Default ETW in Add or Remove Programmes

    Hi

My hard drive is pretty full and I'm struggling to empty it. I noticed in my add or remove programmes screen that there is "empire total war" (15,509mb), "empire total war death's head hussar unit" (20,790mb) and "empire total war special forces unit" (20,790mb). The size of these files suggests i could delete the plain empire total war and still have the game on my system via the special forces programme. Is this true, and would I also be able to delete the deaths head unit as i never really use them?

The dlcs will not work without Empire on your harddrive. If you are going to uninstall Empire, may as well uninstall the dlcs. They can all be reinstalled later.

I want to keep Empire, but the deaths head unit especially takes up more space than the whole game and that doesn't seem right if it's just that unit and not the game plus the unit

if its xp, its common to misread the value of size when there is multiple installs of the ''same'' thing, the total size is 20gb, and only that.

what you could do is to download ccleaner and use it to clean all that accumulated trash, and then run the windows disk cleanup to pick out stragglers, the defrag the thing.

One thing I learned is when there is not enough space, buy another HD, that's what I did, I got a 1tb external for my lappie and well its half full by now, that was last week
