is there a realeased WW1 mod?

no but there is one in the make.

i wonder if there will be tanks and planes and zeppelins and trenches. etw seems to be so limited that its hard to imagine that mod.

i could imagine a fully scripted stosstruppen campaign though that creates small missions to capture a point or stronghold

For a WW I mod you should go to a Napoleon TW Mod here;(its for NTW tho obviously)

There is a ww1 mod for empire but its not been released yet. In my opinion the ww1 mod for Napoleon is much better.

Well, it would be, considering the ETW WW1 mod hasn't even been released yet...
I won't form a judgement however, I prefer 18th century warfare.
